Today I'm sharing my first card using the February 2016 Card Kit. I used the patterned papers, cardstock and stickers from the kit to create a soft and pretty love-themed card.
I trimmed the floral patterned paper for the front of my card and adhered the paper to the top fold card base. I trimmed super thin strips of black cardstock and adhered them to either side of the floral paper.
I die cut the heart from the black cardstock using the Sketch Heart Die and die cut soft leaves from vellum using the Clustered Leaves Die. I gently adhered the two delicate dies to the card using Bling Glue Dots.
I secured two of the sticker phrases from the card kit to the card and then die cut small flowers from another patterned paper using the Mini Flowers and Leaves Dies and secured the flowers throughout the design along the vellum leaves. I finished each flower with mini pearls in the centers.
