Hello everyone! Today I have a Designer Series card featuring the new Mama Elephant Carried Away Stamp Set, Carried Away Creative Cuts Dies, and Rainbow High Creative Cuts Dies. I love how easy it is to create high flying scene cards with these amazing new stamps and dies!
I started this birthday card by building the background of the scene first. I die cut two A2 sized stitched rectangle panels from smooth white cardstock using a Peek A Frame Creative Cuts Die. From one of the panels I die cut a cloud border using a Landscape Trio Creative Cuts Die. I die cut some additional clouds from smooth white cardstock using the Rainbow High Creative Cuts Dies and die cut a rainbow from white cardstock as well.
On the background panel I applied Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I also applied the Tumbled Glass Distress Ink very, very lightly to the bottom of the Landscape Trio panel and clouds.
For the rainbow, I trimmed apart each section and then applied Festive Berries, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, and Milled Lavender Distress Inks to the rainbow and set them aside. For the small red heart from the one small cloud, I applied Festive Berries Distress Ink.
On the cloud border along the bottom of the card, I stamped a greeting from the Carried Away Stamp Set in Intense Black Ink. The balloon, boy, bunny, and balloon string from the Carried Away Stamp Set were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock and colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

Once the ink was dry, I die cut the images with the coordinating Carried Away Creative Cuts Dies. I assembled the card as shown and finished the design with a sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh sequins and mini gold star confetti.
