Welcome to the Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week!
The new Little Bundle Stamp Set and coordinating dies makes the cutest baby cards! I paired these stamped and die cut images with a grassy border using a Meadow Borders Die and framed up the scene with a Stitched Rectangle Frames Die. An embossed resist greeting in the grass along the bottom of the card compliments the sweet and simple design of these two baby cards. I love creating multiple cards when I have all my supplies out. A lot of times it's just as easy to create two or more cards than just the one you might need for an occasion!
For the background I die cut four Stitched Rectangle Frames from watercolor cardstock, keeping the inside rectangles as well as the frames. On two of the inside rectangles I applied Mermaid Lagoon and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks. On another inside rectangle, I die cut two grass borders using a Meadow Borders Die. I stamped each border with greetings from the Little Bundle Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I applied Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks over the stamped and embossed greetings for the embossed resist look.
I spritzed all four pieces with water from a Distress Sprayer, let the water sit for about 30 seconds and then blotted the water dry.
I stamped the clothing and accessory images from the Little Bundle Stamp Set using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and then colored in the images with Copic Markers:
BABY GIRL SLEEPER & SOCKS: RV11, RV34, R24
BABY GIRL DRESS: R00, R02, R11, R24, R29
BABY BOY SLEEPER & SOCKS: B41, B45
BABY BOY OVERALLS: B95, B97, B99, W7
The poles and clothespins for the clothesline were stamped with the Walnut Lawn Fawn Ink and the string was stamped with Black Licorice Ink. All the images were die cut with the Lawn Fawn Little Bundle Dies. I assembled the images as shown on the Distress Inked background and then adhered two frames (one on top of another) to a side fold card base and adhered the embellished panel inside each frame to finish the cards.
