Hello weekend okay so it's no longer weekend because someone forgot to set this post to go live but can we pretend it's still weekend?
I've got another card to share showcasing Sunny Studio Stamps and Dies. The Sending My Love Stamp Set works for making all kinds of greeting cards. I made a birthday card using these stamps and coordinating dies and paired them with the Lawn Fawn Picket Fence Dies and Meadow Border Dies.
I stamped the images from the Sending My Love Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and colored in the images with Copic Markers. The color combinations I used are shown below:
For the background, I stamped greetings from the Sending My Love Stamp Set on watercolor cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I applied Blueprint Sketch and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to the background panel for the embossed resist look. I die cut a grass border from watercolor cardstock using a Meadow Border Die. I applied Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Inks to the border. I spritzed both with water from a Distress Sprayer, let it sit for about 30 seconds and then blotted it dry with a paper towel.
The fence and gate was die cut from smooth white cardstock using the Lawn Fawn Picket Fence Dies. I adhered the background, fence, and grass to create the scene and then adhered the stamped and die cut pieces.
