Hello friends!
Tis the season for graduation, which necessitates the need for graduation cards! This year I need more than normal so I created a single card design that I mass produced easily using some of my favorite stamps and dies from several different companies.
To mass produce my cards I first started by stamping the number balloons using the Mama Elephant Balloons Etcetera Stamp Set. I stamped "2016" using Lawn Fawn Lobster Ink and Lawn Fawn Fish Tank Ink and then die cut the numbers with the coordinating Balloon Etcetera Dies. Once die cut I applied a thin layer of Glossy Accents to each balloon number and set them aside to dry.
Once the Glossy Accents was dry I glued white string to the back of each balloon number using Matte Medium.
I stamped the graduation cap from the Lawn Fawn Hats Off To You Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using the Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink. I colored in the graduation caps with Copic Markers and then die cut the images with the Hats Off To You Dies.
I trimmed white cardstock rectangles to 4" x 5.25" and then used the Lifestyle Crafts Sunshine Embossing Folder on each rectangle.
I die cut 4" wide vellum strips and 4" wide white cardstock strips into cloud borders using the Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud Borders Dies. On each white cardstock cloud border I stamped greetings from the Hero Arts Congrats Stamp Set using the MISTI for perfect placement.
I adhered the balloon numbers and graduation cap to the embossed background using Zots Bling Glue Dots. I secured the balloon strings to the card base with foam adhesive on the back of the vellum cloud border layer. I adhered the greetings cloud border layer on top of the vellum. I adhered each panel to a top fold card base and finished each design with a sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh Silver Mini Star Confetti.
