I combined the Happy Mail Stamps and coordinating Happy Mail Dies with the super awesome Venice Envelope Die Collection for this sweet hello card. I love how the images in the Happy Mail Stamp Set coordinate back to images from past Mama Elephant Stamp Sets: Pandamonium, Arctic Penguins, and Playful Pups and images from the new Incoming Mail Stamp Set.
I stamped the postage images from the Happy Mail Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and colored in the images with Copic Markers before die cutting with the coordinating Happy Mail Dies. I added detail to the eyes with the Sakura Blaze Glaze Pen and White Opaque Glaze Pen. Sparkle was added to the hearts and balloon in the images with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen.
I stamped the postage stamps and the "xo" greeting from the Happy Mail Stamp Set on a red card base using Versamark Ink for a tone-on-tone background that compliments the card design and adds interest to the background.
The stitched label was die cut from smooth white cardstock using a Venice Envelope Die Collection. I adhered the postage stamps to the label and adhered the label to the card base. I die cut the word "hello" and the banner from black cardstock using the Venice Envelope Die Collection. I stacked three "hello" die cuts one on top of another and adhered the word to the card as shown.
I stamped an additional greeting from the Happy Mail Stamp Set on the black cardstock banner using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder before adhering the banner to the bottom of the label as shown.
I finished the card with a layer of Glosssy Accents to the "hello" die cut greeting and to the noses of the critters on the postage stamps.
