Welcome to the Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week!
Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the new Flower Power Dies. I die cut these florals from watercolor cardstock and added color with cardstock to decorate the frame on this shaker card.
The flowers and leaves were die cut from watercolor cardstock and colored with Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, Candied Apple, Dusty Concord, Twisted Citron, and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks. I spritzed the die cut images with water from a Distress Sprayer and blotted the images dry with a paper towel.
I die cut a frame from watercolor cardstock using a Large Cross Stitched Rectangle Die and Small Cross Stitched Circle Die and applied both the frame and circle with Salty Ocean Distress Ink. I spritzed the die cut images with water from a Distress Sprayer and blotted the images dry with a paper towel.
I adhered the circle to a white side fold card base, then adhered a transparency to the back of the frame and added two layers of foam adhesive around the back of the shaker before filling the shaker frame with an assortment of Pretty Pink Posh sequins, seed beads, and confetti. I adhered the card base to the shaker front.
I adhered the Distress Inked flowers to the front of the shaker window as shown, then applied a layer of Glossy Accents to the centers of both flowers. While the Glossy Accents was still wet I sprinkled in Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Seed Beads until the dimension could be seen, then let the flowers dry completely.
I die cut the word "congrats" from both Fun Foam backed Stick It using a Big Scripty Words Die and smooth white cardstock. I adhered the cardstock die cut word to the fun foam and then adhered the dimensional greeting to the card as shown.
I die cut a banner from black cardstock using a Extra Sentiment Banner Die and stamped a greeting from the Believe In Yourself Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder.
