Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the absolutely adorable Rowdy Raccoons Stamp Set and coordinating dies. These cute critters are perfect for all sorts of greeting cards. I used all four raccoon images from the stamp set along the bottom edge of the new Park Avenue Die Frame for maximum impact. A simple Distress Inked background and stamped and embossed greetings round out the design.
I stamped the raccoon images from the Rowdy Raccoons Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink. I colored in the critters with Copic Markers and then die cut the images with the coordinating Rowdy Raccoons Dies. I added detail to the eyes of the critters with a black glaze pen and added white dots to the cheeks with a white glaze pen.
I die cut the Park Avenue Die Frame from smooth white cardstock four times and adhered them one on top of another for a dimensional frame.
On another piece of smooth white cardstock I applied Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink. I used the Simon Says Stamp Falling Stars Stencil to apply a tone-on-tone effect with the same Cracked Pistachio Ink. Once the ink was completely dry (hit it with a heat tool to speed up the process), I stamped two greetings from the Rowdy Raccoons Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossed the sentiments with white embossing powder. I colored in the letters on the word "howdy" using the Stardust Glitter Pen for a touch of sparkle.
I adhered the dimensional frame to the Distress Inked background and tucked the raccoons along the bottom edge. I adhered the whole panel to a side fold card base and finished the design with a scattering of the Pretty Pink Posh Iridescent Mini Star Confetti.
