Hello quilting friends!
I'm sew super excited to share with you all my finished Pineapples Quilt. This quilt has been on my to-do list for awhile now and when I saw the Bella Blvd Fresh Market fabric collection for Riley Blake I knew this was the perfect collection for my quilt! If you follow my Instagram account or Facebook Fan page you probably saw the process photos for my quilt.
The Fresh Market collection didn't have quite enough variety of yellows and greens for my pineapples but one of the things I love best about the Bella Blvd fabric collections is how well all the past collections work with the new ones! I combined green prints from Military Max, Sunny Happy Skies, Summer Breeze, Puppy Park, and Fresh Market collections. I combined yellow prints from Puppy Park, Sunny Happy Skies, Summer Breeze, Too Cute To Spook, and Fresh Market collections.
This free pineapple pattern is available HERE. After piecing my quilt I had it professionally long arm quilted by Crinklelove using the Plaid Edge to Edge Pattern.
The back of my quilt is the Fresh Market Black Fresh Market Pineapple fabric and bound with the Yellow Fresh Market Slice. The finished quilt measures approximately 62" x 78".
I have an extra pineapple block that I'm sewing up into a matching throw pillow plus I'm almost finished with several of THESE Fresh Market feed sack tote bags and will be adding them to my newly opened Etsy shop Handcraft Happiness a little later this weekend!
