Happy Friday!
Today I'm sharing a fairy garden hello card by combining several Lawn Fawn Stamp Sets and Dies. One of my favorite things about Lawn Fawn is how well the many stamp sets work together. This design was inspired by the fairy house from the Fairy Friends Stamp Set and the mushroom home from the Gnome Sweet Gnome Stamp Set. I thought these images would make the perfect "fairy garden" scene. With so much going on with the design of this card I kept the greeting small and simple, keeping the focus on the scene.
The fairy house, steps, fairy, sunflower, and lantern from the Fairy Friends Stamp Set, the bird bath and mushroom house from the Gnome Sweet Gnome Stamp Set, the sunflowers and grass from the Gleeful Gardens Stamp Set, and the birds from the Chit Chat Stamp Set were stamped on smooth were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. The lantern holder and additional greenery from the Fairy Friends Stamp Set were stamped with Lawn Fawn Freshly Cut Grass Ink.
All the images were die cut with the coordinating Fairy Friends Dies, Gnome Sweet Gnome Dies, Gleeful Gardens Dies, and Chit Chat Dies.
For the background I die cut two rectangles from smooth white cardstock using the the A2 sized Large Stitched Rectangle Die. From one of the rectangles I die cut two borders using the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders Dies. On the background I applied Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and on the borders I applied Twisted Citron Distress Ink.
The scene and borders were assembled on the background rectangle, tucking some of the elements behind each border and some in the foreground as shown.
A greeting from the Gingham Backdrops Stamp Set was stamped in the lower right corner of the card using black ink.
The sky was finished with some twinkling stars from the Fairy Friends Stamp Set with detail added with the Sakura Stardust Glitter Pen.
