Mommy Lhey Thanks Cards

Hello!

Today I have some Thanks cards featuring the Mommy Lhey Bring It On and Outside the Box stamp sets, Simon Says Stamp Tiny Alphabet Background stamp, and Lawn Fawn Large Dotted Rectangle Stackables and Small Dotted Rectangle Stackables. Combining stamps and dies from several manufacturers is my favorite way to create cards! I love to mix and match from my stash when designing. These Thanks Cards are a great design to create multiples of and would make a great gift card set.

To create the frame and inside rectangle of the card I die cut smooth white cardstock using the brand new Lawn Fawn Large Dotted Rectangle Stackables and Small Dotted Rectangle Stackables. I set the frames aside for a minute to work on the inside stamped rectangle.

Using the MISTI so I could double stamp the image for the best and darkest stamped impression, I stamped the girl from the Mommy Lhey Bring It On stamp set and the "thanks" greeting and stars from the Outside the Box stamp set. I colored in the images with Copic Markers, applied a layer of Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Marker to the diamond on the pen and then applied a layer of Glossy Accents to the diamond. I set aside the inside rectangles to let the Glossy Accents dry.

Next, I placed the white frame in the MISTI and stamped the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Alphabet Background stamp using Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Ink to each frame. I love how the alphabet text is on the diagonal (my favorite!).

The frame was adhered to a side fold card base and then I adhered the stamped and colored rectangle to the center of the frame.

I finished off each card with a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh Mini Gold Star Confetti and Sparkling Clear sequins.

Mama Elephant Designer Series | Page Huggers

Hi there! Today I have a Designer Series Gift Card Pocket Card featuring the Page Huggers Stamp Set and the coordinating Page Hugger Dies. These critters and dies are amazing because the paws die cut so that these sweet images can "hold on" to whatever you tuck them behind or in to! Such a great idea and makes for creating some super fun card designs! I dressed up the bear with the graduation cap, glasses, and diploma from the Page Huggers Stamp Set for this graduation-themed card.

I stamped the bear, graduation cap, glasses, diploma, stack of book, pencils, and apple from the Page Huggers Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using black ink and colored in the images with Copic Markers. I die cut the images with the coordinating Page Huggers dies, added Glossy  Accents to the glasses on the bear and set the image aside to dry.

For the pocket background, I die cut 2 frames from smooth white cardstock and one frame from black cardstock using the Dotted Details Frame Die. From one of the inside solid white rectangles I used the notched pocket die from the Dotted Details collection to make a pocket.

On the background rectangle, I applied Fossilized Amber Distress Ink through a Tim Holtz Rays Stencil and then blended Squeezed Lemonade over the top. I applied Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink to the pocket as well.

On the front pocket I stamped the "amazing" greeting from the Words Defined Stamp Set using black Ink. I stamped "congratulations" from the Labeled Messages Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using black Ink and cut out the greeting leaving a thin, white border.

The pocket was adhered over the background by applying adhesive to the sides and bottom. The "congratulations" greeting was adhered above the word "amazing" and the books, pencils and apple were adhere below the greetings as shown.

The bear was tucked behind the front edge of the pocket, the cap glued to his head and the diploma tucked under one of his paws.

I adhered the pocket rectangle to a top fold card base and then glued the Dotted Detail frames around the center panel one on top of another, finishing with the black frame.

Simon Says Stamp September Card Kit | Friend Birthday Scratch Off Card

Happy Sunday friends!

I'm back today with another new card share showcasing the September Simon Says Stamp Card Kit! Colorful stamped birthday balloons paired with the puffy stickers, patterned paper, and Nuvo Glitter Drops from the kit make for a pretty friend-themed birthday greeting!

The front of a top fold card base was covered with one of the patterned paper from the kit. White cardstock from the kit was cut with the Scalloped Wavy Border Die. I masked off the stitched scallop edge with post it tape and then stamped the balloons from the It's No Secret Stamp Set using Doll Pink, Duckling, Spring Rain, and Scuba Inks. The balloon strings were stamped with Fog Ink. The greeting was stamped with black ink along the bottom edge of the card. Additional greetings were stamped on two of the balloons.

I placed one of the scratch off stickers over the "happy birthday" balloon greeting. Puffy stickers from the kit were adhered as shown.

I adhered the stamped panel to the card with foam adhesive and then finished with silver glitter glue dots.

The scratch off stickers show the hidden greeting underneath with a simple scratch of a coin!

Lawn Fawn Fall/Winter Release NOW AVAILABLE | Scalloped Treat Box + Put A Bow On It

The Lawn Fawn Fall/Winter 2016 Release is NOW AVAILABLE!

I've got a project to share today showcasing several of the new products showcased during the Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week. I paired the Perfectly Plaid Fall Paper Collection with the Scalloped Treat Box Dies, Put A Bow On It Dies, and other Lawn Fawn stamps and dies to round out the design. I made these treat boxes into little dog treat gift boxes for friends who have sweet fur babies but these would work for almost any other occasion as well!

The boxes were die cut from the 12x12 Perfectly Plaid Fall Paper Collection patterned paper using the Scalloped Treat Box Die. You'll want to use a larger patterned paper because this die is a bit bigger than a 6x6 piece of paper. Once die cut, I assembled each of the treat boxes.

Next I die cut the labels from smooth white cardstock using a Small Stitched Rectangle Die and a Scalloped Rectangle Die. I love the look of the white on white rectangles to keep the focus on the gorgeous patterns of the treat boxes!

I stamped the word "treat" from the Happy Howl-o-ween Stamp Set on each label using Black Licorice Ink and then stamped the star, bone, or paw print on the label using Fake Tan, Sunflower, or Merman Ink.

The bows for each of the boxes was die cut from the Perfectly Plaid Fall Paper Collection patterned paper. I used the smallest bow, assembled it and adhered them to the top of each label.

Circle tags were die cut from smooth white cardstock using the Stitched Circle Tags Dies Collection. A greeting from the Tiny Tag Sayings Stamp Set. Each small circle tag was tied to the top of the treat boxes with Natural Lawn Trimmings twine.

Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight | Words Defined

Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the new Words Defined Stamp Set! This awesome greeting set pairs with the other Mama Elephant Stamp Sets so nicely! I used the Words Defined Stamp Set with the new Page Huggers Stamp Set and coordinating dies as well as the Stripe Cover Die for this sweet happiness card.

I knew I wanted the bunny from the Page Huggers Stamp Set to be holding onto the Words Defined greeting strip. As I was looking for the perfect way to showcase the bunny I came across the Stripe Cover Die and the idea for the tucking "grass" into the openings was born!

The Stripe Cover Die was die cut from watercolor cardstock and inked with Dried Marigold and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks. More watercolor cardstock was used to die cut strips using the Grassy Trio Dies. After trimming the grass to fit the openings in the stripe cover, I inked up the pieces with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks. I spritzed all the pieces with water from a Distress Sprayer, let the water sit for 15-20 seconds, and blotted them dry with a paper towel.

The grass pieces were adhered in the openings of the stripe cover as shown.

The greeting from the Words Defined Stamp Set was stamped on smooth white cardstock using black ink. A Fine Trimmings Die added decorative stitching to the two long sides of the "happiness" strip.

The bunny and carrots from the Page Huggers Stamp Set was stamped on smooth white cardstock using black ink and colored with Copic Markers before die cutting with the coordinating dies. The bunny was tucked under the top edge of the greeting strip, holding onto the banner as well as one of the carrot dies. The rest of the carrot die cuts were tucked behind the grassy layers.

The whole panel was adhered to a top fold card base to finish the design.

Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week | Simple Pop Ups + Stitched Hillside Pop Up + GIVEAWAY

Welcome to the Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week!

Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the awesome new interactive Simple Pop Ups Dies and Stitched Hillside Pop Ups Dies. These awesome interactive dies allow you to not only create beautiful card fronts but you can make the inside of your cards the star of the show! I paired the Stitched Hillside Pop Up with the brand new Leafy Tree Backdrop Landscape Dies, Jump For Joy Stamps and Dies, Stitched Tree Borders Dies and older Lawn Fawn stamps and dies.

 The cardstock elements were die cut from Lawn Fawn Rainbow Cardstock using the Stitched Hillside Pop Ups Die, Leafy Tree Backdrop Landscape Dies, and Stitched Tree Borders Dies. The card base was created from Lawn Fawn blue cardstock. I applied Salty Ocean Distress Ink to the card base, Mowed Lawn Distress Ink to the green cardstock die cut pieces, Fired Brick Distress Ink to the red cardstock pieces, Fossilized Amber Distress Ink to the yellow cardstock die cuts, and Rusty Hinge Distress Ink to the orange die cuts.

Images from the Jump For Joy Stamp Set, Party Animal Stamp Set, Year Five Stamp Set, Year Two Stamp Set, and Hedgehugs Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers. All images were die cut with Jump For Joy Dies, Party Animal Dies, Year Five Dies, Year Two Dies, and Hedgehugs Dies.

I assembled the scene on the front of the card and the pop up scene on the inside of the card. I added stamped greetings from the Jump For Joy Stamp Set using black ink. I finished the card by adding detail to the eyes with a black glaze pen and the stardust glitter pen to parts of the party hats, candle, and gift boxes.

Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week | Thanks A Bushel + Cutie Pie

Welcome to the Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week!

Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the new Thanks A Bushel Stamp Set and coordinating dies and Cutie Pie Stamp Set and coordinating dies. I love how well these two stamp sets work together, don't you?!!! And the apples can have faces, or not, whichever you prefer. I love stamp sets that are versatile!

The apple images from the Thanks A Bushel Stamp Set and the pie from the Cutie Pie Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using black ink and colored in with Copic Markers. The images were die cut with the coordinating Thanks A Bushel Dies and Cutie Pie Dies.

Two rectangles were die cut from smooth white cardstock and from Lawn Fawn green cardstock using a Stitched Rectangle Frame Die. On the white inside solid rectangle I masked off the top of the rectangle and applied Ground Espresso Distress Ink. Once the ink was dry I stamped greetings from the Thanks A Bushel Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

The greeting rectangle was adhered to a side fold card base and then two die cut frames (one white, one green) were adhered one on the top of another around the center rectangle. The colored and die cut images were adhered above the greeting as shown. "Steam" from the Cutie Pie Stamp Set was stamped above the pie. A black glaze pen was used to add detail to the apple's faces, Glossy Accents was added to the glasses, and the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen was applied to the top of the pie to finish the card design.
