Hello friends! Today I'm so excited to share another card that features several different manufacturer's stamps on one card. This is one of my all-time favorite ways to create! I love how well this girl boss diva from the new Mommy Lhey Divas Stamp Set coordinates with this awesome greeting from the Simon Says Stamp Choose Happy Stamp Set, don't you?!!!! I know just the friend this card will be mailed to!
Using a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Banners Die as a guide, I stamped a greeting from the Simon Says Stamp Choose Happy Stamp Set using Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Ink (I love this ink for creating a bold, black greeting). Above the greeting, I stamped a girl boss diva from the Mommy Lhey Divas Stamp Set using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink (this is a great ink for Copic Coloring as it will not bleed). Once the images were stamped I die cut the banner strip with a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Banners Die. I colored in the girl image with Copic Markers, adding detail to the sunglasses with a white glaze pen and adding Glossy Accents to the sunglasses and handbag.
Hearts from the Simon Says Stamp Choose Happy Stamp Set were stamped on the banner strip using Simon Says Stamp Doll Pink Ink and a layer of Glossy Accents was applied to all three.
One of my very favorite custom backgrounds to create is a black and white diagonal stripe background. This is also great when you might not have that particular pattern paper on hand and you can also create a diagonal striped background using any color of ink that you like! Love that! My two favorite Diagonal Stripe Backgrounds are the Simon Says Stamp Diagonal Stripe Background and the MFT Diagonal Stripe Background. I used the MFT Diagonal Stripe Background for my card today. The MISTI is the perfect tool for a large stamped background like this. I stamped the background on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of smooth white cardstock using the Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Ink.
A piece of Simon Says Stamp Doll Pink Cardstock was trimmed and adhered to the center of the black and white striped background.
For the tone-on-tone black text embossed background, I took a strip of black cardstock and stamped the "girl boss" greeting from the Mommy Lhey Divas Stamp Set over and over on a diagonal using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with clear embossing powder.
