The Woodsy Creatures make the perfect Thanksgiving Card when adorned with pilgrim hats or indian feathers. Pumpkins and a pie round out this sweet scene. I fussy cut all the images for my card today but there are coordinating Woodsy Creatures Dies that would speed up the process!
The critters, hats, feathers, pumpkins and pie from the Woodsy Creatures Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Intense Black Ink and colored in with Copic Markers. The images were all fussy cut and set aside while I applied Distress Ink to the background.
Wild Honey Distress Ink was applied to smooth white cardstock and a greeting from the Woodsy Creatures Stamp Set was stamped along the top edge with black ink. The critters and accessories were adhered along the bottom edge of the strip with any excess being cut off. Detail was added to the eyes with a black glaze pen and white glaze pen. Glossy Accents was added to the noses and buckles on the hats.
Hearts were stamped on the background and colored in with Copic Markers and finished with a layer of Glossy Accents.
For a tone-on-tone black background, I stamped the Simon Says Stamp Diagonal Stripes Background Stamp on black cardstock with Versamark Frost Ink. The decorative strip was adhered to the stripe background and finished with thin white strips along the top and bottom. Pretty Pink Posh metallic sequins and gold mini heart confetti complete the card.
