Welcome to the Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week!
Today the Lawn Fawn design team is showcasing the awesome new Frosty Fairy Friends Stamp Set and coordinating dies. I created a Christmas fairy scene using these sweet images plus the Large Dotted Rectangle Dies and the Small and Large Dotted Circle Dies. By layering the rectangle/circle die cut panels and tucking greenery around the circle openings, I was able to give the illusion of "looking into" this fairy garden.
I stamped the fairy, house, berry branch, and mushrooms on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink, using the MISTI to stamp the images one on top of another for crisp, bold black stamped lines. Once stamped, I colored in the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and die cut the images with the coordinating Frosty Fairy Friends dies.
The greenery was stamped with a combination of Lawn Fawn Celery Stick and Freshly Cut Grass Dye Inks and die cut with the coordinating dies.
For the frames, I die cut smooth white cardstock using a combination of the Large Dotted Rectangle Dies and the Small and Large Dotted Circle Dies. On the front panel (the one with the larger of the two circles, I stamped greetings from the Frosty Fairy Friends Stamp Set using Lawn Fawn Black Licorice and Plastic Flamingo Inks.
On the solid circle die cut I applied Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I adhered the panel with the smaller circle to the card base with foam adhesive and then adhered the inked circle in the center. I adhered the other frame with the larger circle and greeting on top with more foam adhesive.
I adhered the stamped, colored, and die cut elements in and around the circles, using all layers for a lovely layered scene. I finished the design with a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh clear droplets.
