Welcome to the Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week!
Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the new Snow Cool Stamp Set and coordinating dies. I love that Lawn Fawn continually releases stamps that work with past stamps and dies! Mixing and matching is one of my favorite techniques. The penguins from last year's Toboggan Together Stamp Set work perfectly with the Snow Cool penguins! I used my favorite Stitched Hillside Pop Up die inside the card to make an interactive pop up element when you open the card. My favorite thing about this die is that it's almost like creating two card "fronts" because the front and the inside are both decorated!
I started with the backgrounds for my card. I used Lawn Fawn Mermaid Cardstock for the card base and stamped the snow from the Snow Cool Stamp Set on both the front and the inside front using Lawn Fawn Yeti White Pigment Ink. I added greetings from the Snow Cool Stamp Set along the top of the card front and inside the card with Black Licorice Ink and Peacock Ink.
I die cut snow borders from smooth white cardstock for the front of the card using the Stitched Hillside Borders Dies and snow for the inside using the Stitched Hillside Pop Up die. I die cut mountains from Simon Says Stamp Khaki Cardstock using the Stitched Mountain Dies.
I assembled the snow and mountains on both the front and inside of the card as shown, finishing the mountains with die cut snow caps.
I stamped the penguins, snow penguin, igloo and accessories from the Snow Cool Stamp Set and coordinating dies and the Toboggan Together Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and colored in the images with Copic Markers. The images were die cut with the coordinating Snow Cool Stamp Set and coordinating dies and Toboggan Together Dies.
I assembled the scenes on the front and inside of the card using the stamped and die cut images. A black glaze pen added detail to the eyes and the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen added a touch of glimmer to the snowy accents (igloo, snowballs, and snow cone).
