HAPPY STAMPtember®!!!!
Thank you so much for joining us in the STAMPtember® fun! This STAMPtember is been bigger and better than ever! STAMPtember is my favorite crafty month all year long! From awesome exclusives, to incredible inspiration, Simon Says Stamp has it all!
Today I'm sharing a card with some of my favorites from the STAMPtember Release, the Secret Garden Stamp Set, coordinating Secret Garden Dies, and the awesome Birch Window Die! These awesome products combine to create a truly magical birthday card!
I stamped the fairy, mushroom, house, snail, sign, and flowers from the Secret Garden Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink. I colored in the images with Copic Markers and then die cut them with the coordinating Secret Garden Dies. Detail was added to the eyes in the images with a black glaze pen and the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen added subtle shimmer to the fairy's wings, wand and parts of her dress.
The Birch Window Die was used to create a forest window in a rectangle die cut with a Stitched Rectangle Die. Another rectangle was die cut from the SSS Vellum and another from smooth white cardstock. I layered the vellum behind the window panel and then applied Squeezed Lemonade and Twisted Citron Distress Inks to the background rectangle for a bit of color. I adhered the house to the Distress Inked rectangle and then adhered the birch window to the background with foam adhesive.
I stamped a greeting from the Secret Garden Stamp Set above the birch window using Delicata Silvery Shimmer Ink. The scene was attached to a top fold card base to complete the design.
