Welcome to the second day of STAMPtember at Simon Says Stamp, featuring the exclusive limited edition Lawn Fawn Happy Howlidays Stamp Set and coordinating dies. If you loved the recently released Happy Howloween Stamps and Dies you will love this holiday collection! For my Halloween card I colored in the sweet dachshunds with Copic Markers so for this Christmas themed dachschund card I colored the images with Prismacolor Colored Pencils. To make this even more fun I added an interactive element inside with the Stitched Hillside Pop Up die!
I stamped the images from the Lawn Fawn Happy Howlidays Stamp Set and coordinating dies on smooth white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink. I colored in the images with Prismacolor colored pencils and blended the colors with the Prismacolor Blending Pencil. I die cut the images with the dies and added detail to the noses and eyes with a black glaze pen.
For the front of the card, I stamped snowflakes from the Lawn Fawn Happy Howlidays Stamp Set and coordinating dies on a white card base using Delicata Silvery Shimmer Ink. Two white cardstock borders were cut for the front using the Forest Border Die and a Stitched Hillside Border Die. Bundled Sage Distress Ink was applied to the trees on the forest border to give them a hint of color.
Several of the Lawn Fawn Happy Howlidays Stamp Set and coordinating dies were adhered in the lower right corner of the scene, a greeting from the Tiny Tag Sayings Stamp Set was stamped below the images using Black Licorice Ink.
For the inside I created another Forest Border Die colored with Bundled Sage Distress Ink and adhered to the back of the front of the card. I stamped snowflakes from the Lawn Fawn Happy Howlidays Stamp Set and coordinating dies above the tree border using Delicata Silvery Shimmer Ink. I die cut a pop up from smooth white cardstock using the Stitched Hillside Pop Up die and adhered it as shown to the inside of the card. The remaining images from the Lawn Fawn Happy Howlidays Stamp Set and coordinating dies were adhered and trees from Ready, Set, Snow were stamped with Bundled Sage Distress Ink and die cut with the Ready, Set, Snow dies and then adhered to the scene as shown.
To finish off the inside of the card I stamped greetings from the Lawn Fawn Happy Howlidays Stamp Set and coordinating dies with Lawn Fawn Lobster Red Ink and Delicata Silvery Shimmer Ink.
