How about a little more STAMPtember Limited Edition Exclusive goodness for you today?!!! This time Tim Holtz is bringing an amazing Holiday Stamp Set and Stencil to you just in time to start your holiday cards and projects! I've got two cards to share with you today using these fabulous new stamps and stencil!
For my first card I created a stamped and embossed holiday wreath with the Holiday Stamp Set. The wreath from the set was stamped on watercolor cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Antique Gold Embossing Powder. I colored in the bow and ribbons with the Candied Apple Distress Marker, smoothing out the color with a water brush. I added Forest Moss Distress Marker to the leaves and finished with a little Evergreen Bough Distress Marker around the design to really make it pop.
I adhered the watercolor paper to a top fold card base and framed up the panel with a rectangle frame die cut from gold metallic paper with a Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Frame Die.
The wreath was finished with an assortment of Pretty Pink Posh Metallic Gold and Sparkling Clear sequins.
For my next card I used the Holiday Stencil with white embossing paste to create a dimensional design. The white on white can be a beautiful look but you can also add amazing color by inking up the embossing paste after it's dried with Distress Inks. After applying the embossing paste through the stencil and letting it dry, I replaced the cleaned stencil over the design and used sponge daubers to apply Candied Apple and Fired Brick Distress Inks over the poinsettias. I applied Forest Moss Distress Ink over the leaves and then cleaned the stencil again.
I stamped a greeting from the Holiday Stamp Set on a smooth white cardstock strip using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Antique Gold Embossing Powder. I adhered the greeting strip and finished with thin, gold strips of paper along the top and bottom to make the greeting really stand out!
I finished the card design with a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear and Gold Metallic sequins and Hero Arts pearl gemstones.
