Welcome to the Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week! Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the new Perfectly Plaid Winter Paper Collection. This gorgeous paper collection inspired all my color choices and card projects this month! I paired a couple of patterns from this collection with the Fa La La La La Scripty Die and the Winter Sparrows Stamp Set and coordinating dies.
The background was created by die cutting two different Perfectly Plaid Winter Paper Collection patterns using the Fa La La La La Scripty Die, being sure to keep the inside letter pieces for inlay later on. I also die cut some Narwhal Cardstock with the die. I placed the blue pattern along the top edge of a side fold notecard, then glued the Fa La La La La in place, and finally the white/gray patterned paper. I replaced the patterned papers in the loops on the letters for a complete inlay background. I trimmed any excess paper off once the inlay was finished and rounded the corners of the card with the 1/2" corner chomper.
I stamped the birds from the Winter Sparrows Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and colored in the images with Copic Marker before die cutting with the coordinating dies. I stamped the music notes with Versamark and heat embossed with silver embossing powder before die cutting with the coordinating dies. I adhered the stamped and die cut images along the top of the card, adding Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins and mini silver star confetti.
I finished the card with an additional stamped greeting from the Winter Sparrows Stamp Set, stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with silver embossing powder.
