Welcome to the Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week! Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the new Winter Unicorn Stamp Set and coordinating die. I paired this adorable unicorn with the Perfectly Plaid Winter 6x6 Patterned Papers and a greeting from the Merry Messages Stamp Set. I pulled the colors for my unicorn straight from the patterned papers for a frosty fun non-traditional color scheme!
I stamped the unicorn from the Winter Unicorn Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and colored in the image with Copic Markers. I die cut the image with the coordinating die and added detail to the image glitter pens and a black glaze pen.
I die cut two rectangles from two different Perfectly Plaid Winter 6x6 Patterned Papers using a Small Dotted Rectangle Die and a Large Dotted Rectangle Die. I die cut another rectangle from vellum using a Scalloped Rectangle Die. Snowflakes from the Merry Messages Stamp Set and the tiny star from the Winter Unicorn Stamp Set were stamped on the vellum layer using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
A greeting from the Merry Messages Stamp Set was stamped on black cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I die cut the sentiment with an Everyday Sentiment Banner Die, shortening the shape as shown in the how to video.
The banner and unicorn were attached to the vellum layer as shown and then that layer was adhered over the smaller of the two plaid layers. The large A2 sized layer was adhered to a white card base and then the unicorn layer was adhered to the center of the background with foam adhesive. White iridescent gems complete the front of the card design.
For the inside of the card I stamped greetings from the Winter Unicorn Stamp Set using Lawn Fawn Narwhal Ink and Mermaid Ink. Snowflakes and the tiny star were stamped with Mermaid Ink to complete the inside of the card.
