The Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit may have sold out but the components are still available for individual purchase. I used my favorite Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Fall 6x6 patterned paper with the Simon Says Stamp Ring Frame Die for pretty framed up papers. Simple accents and a delicate die cut greeting from gold metallic cardstock make for a trio of gorgeous autumn blessings cards.
For the dimensional ring frames I applied Stick It to two sides of Fun Foam, removing stick it from one side and applying white cardstock and then die cutting the dimensional frames with the Simon Says Stamp Ring Frame Die. I adhered the frame to the front of a Side Fold Card Base. I die cut three patterns from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Fall 6x6 patterned paper and filled the ring frames with the patterned paper circles.
I die cut maple leaves from a bronw Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Fall 6x6 patterned paper using the Stitched Maple Trio Dies. I attached the leaves to the card with mini glue dots.
Distressing was added to the backgrounds by watering down some Tarnished Brass Distress Paint and flicking it over each with a paintbrush.
Once the paint was dry, I added an acorn to the largest maple leaf and added a scattering of pearl gemstones. Additional leaves were die cut from metallic gold cardstock from the Stitched Pumpkins Dies. A greeting was die cut from the same cardstock using the Autumn Blessings Die and attached to the card with small drops of liquid glue.
