Hello friends! Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the new Tiny Ninjas Stamp Set and coordinating dies. Remember way back in July when Simon Says Stamp offered their Masterpiece Box Collection and Tiny Ninjas was a part of that collaboration? Well, guess what?!!!! Now you can get these cute Tiny Ninjas if you missed out back then and there are coordinating dies! Whoohoo! I'm linking up both projects here today (with videos) for double the viewing pleasure!
First up, my brand new card showcasing these cute images for an encouragement card greeting.
I stamped five of the ninjas from the Tiny Ninjas Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink. I used the MISTI to stamp the images so I could stamp them one on top of another for crisp, black images that really pop! I colored in the images with Copic Markers and die cut them with the coordinating dies.
I die cut the frame from watercolor cardstock using a Park Avenue Die. I stamped the greetings and throwing stars from the Tiny Ninjas Stamp Set with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I applied Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers, and Black Soot Distress Inks over the embossing for embossed resist. I spritzed the background with water from a Distress Sprayer, waited a few seconds and then blotted it dry with a paper towel. I watered down Picket Fence and Brushed Pewter Distress Paints and flicked them over the background with a tiny paintbrush and set aside the background to dry for a bit.
I adhered the frame and background to a side fold card base and carefully tucked the ninjas in place along the bottom edge as shown.
I finished the card with a sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh Tiny Silver Star Confetti.

Next up, I am re-sharing this thank you ninja card from July. I framed up the ninjas using the Mama Elephant Polaroid Fun Die Collection. I Distress Inked a background on a die cut panel that shows off the embossed resist greeting.
I stamped three of the ninjas from the Mama Elephant Tiny Ninjas Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and then die cut each with the smaller Mama Elephant Polaroid Fun Die Collection. I colored in the images with Copic Markers and added detail to the eyes with a black glaze pen.
I die cut three more frames from black cardstock using the Mama Elephant Polaroid Fun Die Collection, discarding the inside squares.
The background was die cut from smooth white cardstock using a Sew Fancy Die. I stamped greetings from the Tiny Ninjas Stamp Set using the Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Inkand heat embossing with white embossing powder.
I applied Candied Apple Distress Ink over the background revealing the embossed greetings.
The background was splattered with Black Soot Distress Paint and Picket Fence Distress Paint. Once the background was completely dry I adhered the frames to the background and then added washi tape to each to "hold" them in place!

Are you still reading? This was a loooong post! Well, I have an extra Tiny Ninjas Stamp Set to give away. It's brand new but not in any packaging. It's just the stamps, no dies. (The red thank you card above doesn't use the dies!). If you're interested, leave a comment on this blog post by Monday, November 21, 2016 for a chance to win.
