The December Kit is full of fabulous patterned papers, stamps, stickers, cardstock, envelopes, even a Chibitronics light up kit that are perfect for creating some amazing holiday and Christmas themed cards!
I created the background for the card with two of the Stitched Rectangle Dies, die cut from the white and blue cardstock included in the kit. I used the small blue rectangle for the background of my scene and used the small white cardstock rectangle to die cut a Stitched Slopes and Hills border.
I stamped snowflakes from the Merry & Bright Stamp Set on the blue rectangle using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder.
I placed the white border along the bottom edge of the snowflake background and added the candy cane sprinkles stickers, pop up mailbox sticker, and envelope stickers (all from the kit).
I stamped the reindeer, banner, and greeting on smooth white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink, colored the images in with Copic Markers, and fussy cut the images before adhering them to the scene.
I used foam adhesive on the back of the cardstock frame and scene panel to secure the two pieces together and to adhere them to a white side fold card base.
I used a black glaze pen for the eyes on the reindeer and applied Glossy Accents to the nose to finish the card design.
Two additional greetings from the Merry & Bright Stamp Set were stamped on the back flap of the red envelope to finish the set.
