It's time for my weekly video series, It's In The Details, for the Waffle Flower Inspiration Team. Every Friday I will share a new video featuring amazing Waffle Flower Stamps and Dies.
Create a striking background with the new Enveloper Little Birdie Stamp Set flower border images and water colors. Stamped and embossed with white embossing powder and watercolored with the Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors make for stunning backgrounds that are fun and easy to create!
To create the background for my card, I stamped a border from the Enveloper Little Birdie Stamp Set on Bristol Smooth cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder. The florals were watercolored with Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors and a Water Brush Pen giving the images rich color and then I added a light aqua watercolor wash to the background to really make the flower borders pop!
Once the background was dry, I matted the panel on some aqua cardstock.
To keep the emphasis on the gorgeous florals, I stamped a greeting from the Enveloper Choice Stamp Set on vellum, heat embossing withw hite embossing powder and wrapped the vellum around the panel. I love being able to still see the pretty background through the vellum greeting strip!
I finished the card design with a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins.
This technique is so fun that I created an additional card only using one border and watercoloring over the embossed greeting for a horizontal landscape design.
