Welcome to the February 2017 Essentials by Ellen Release Hop! You should have arrived here from the amazing Carolyn Peeler 's blog. I’ll be showcasing several of the new products on my post today!
First up, I've got an interactive slider card featuring the brand new Otterly Awesome Stamp Set and coordinating dies, Otterware Stamp Set and coordinating dies, and the Swing and Slide Dies. The Otterly Awesome Stamp Set and Otterware Stamp Set work together so well to create amazingly fun scene cards! The addition of the Swing and Slide Die moves this adorable little otter from one side of the scene to the other!
For the background I applied Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks to some Bristol Smooth Cardstock. The waves from the Otterly Awesome Stamp Set were stamped with Salty Ocean Distress Ink along the bottom edge. A Swing and Slide Die was die cut from the panel and a greeting from the Otterly Awesome Stamp Set was stamped along the top of the scene as shown.
The solid images from the Otterware Stamp Set were stamped with Lawn Fawn Freshly Cut Grass, Celery Stick, and Fish Tank Inks and shaded with Copic Markers and the outline images from the Otterly Awesome Stamp Set and Otterware Stamp Set were stamped with Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and colored in with Copic Markers. I die cut all the images with the coordinating dies.
I assembled the scene as shown and the slider before securing the panel to a side fold card base with foam adhesive. I finished the design with Glossy Accents over the water splashes and added some Pretty Pink Posh clear droplets.

This next card showcases the new Hinged Thanks Die and coordinates with the first one, also featuring the Otterly Awesome Stamp Set and Otterware Stamp Set. The Hinged Thanks makes such an amazing interactive element!
On a smooth white cardstock panel I die cut the Hinged Thanks Die. Before popping up the letters, I applied Salty Ocean Distress Ink to the panel as shown.
The solid images from the Otterware Stamp Set were stamped with Lawn Fawn Freshly Cut Grass, Celery Stick, and Fish Tank Inks and shaded with Copic Markers and the outline images from the Otterly Awesome Stamp Set and Otterware Stamp Set were stamped with Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and colored in with Copic Markers. I die cut all the images with the coordinating dies and assembled the scene as shown, tucking one of the otters into the letter "K" in "thanks".
I backed the hinged word with a strip of black cardstock.
The scene is finished with Glossy Accents over the heart and added some Pretty Pink Posh clear droplets.
The inside of the card is stamped with another greeting from the Otterly Awesome Stamp Set.
