Happy Monday friends!
Today I'm sharing a simple slider card featuring the brand new Railroad Slider Die and some fun Doodlebug Easter Doodle Pops and Easter Sprinkles. Interactive cards are all the rage and are an easy and fun way to make elements move on your cards!
For the background, I die cut a 6x6 piece of Lawn Fawn Watercolor Wishes Patterned Paper using a Stitched Rectangle Die. I die cut another rectangle from Lawn Fawn Cilantro Cardstock. From the green rectangle, I die cut two grassy borders using a Lawn Fawn Simple Grassy Hillsides Die. From one of the borders I die cut a slider track using the Simon Says Stamp Railroad Slider Die.
The solid grassy border was adhered to the sky background. On the border with the die cut slider track, I stamped two phrases from the new Simon Says Stamp Easter Greetings Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
For the slider, I placed a penny behind the track and doubled up some foam adhesive dots in the center. I used a powder tool on the back of the Doodlebug Easter Doodle Pops sticker to make it un-sticky, then attached it to the foam dots on the penny.
On the back of the slider track border, I placed a layer of foam adhesive, making sure to stay away from the edges of the track, leaving the penny room to slide and move. I removed the backing paper off the foam adhesive and attached the border to the card background.
The carrots and flowers from the Easter Sprinkles sticker sheet were adhered to the scene as shown and the background was attached to a white side fold card base.
The solid bunny and a greeting from the Simon Says Stamp Easter Greetings Stamp Set was stamped on the back flap of a Simon Says Stamp Metallic Sea Glass Envelope using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink.
