Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week | Bicycle Built For You Wedding Slider Card

Welcome to the Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week!

Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is featuring the brand new Bicycle Built For You Stamp Set and coordinating dies and Simple Road Border Dies. Watercolor Wishes 6x6 patterned paper makes the perfect background where the Slide On over Dies give the adorable bicycle movement across the card. I love that the images from this stamp set can be used for lots of different occasions! Versatile stamp sets are always my favorite stamp sets.

The background was die cut from Watercolor Wishes 6x6 patterned paper using the A2 sized Large Stitched Rectangle Die. From the green rectangle I die cut a grassy hill using a Simple Stitched Hillside Die. From the green hillside and blue background, I die cut a Slide On over Die. On the green border I stamped greetings from the Bicycle Built For You Stamp Set using Jet Black Ink.

Clouds were die cut from smooth white cardstock and vellum using the Puffy Clouds Dies and adhered to the "sky" on the backgorund. Hearts from the Bicycle Built For You Stamp Set were stamped with Lobster Ink.

Two layers of foam tape were applied to the back of the background, being careful to keep away from the slider track. Pennies were placed in the track with two layers of foam on the pennies and the background was adhered to a white side fold card base.

Images from the Bicycle Built For You Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Jet Black Ink and the images were colored with Copic Markers before being die cut with the coordinating dies. Clear "stilts" were cut from a scrap of thick transparency and adhered to the pennies. The assembled bicycle scene was adhered to the stilts.

A sidewalk or road (whichever you prefer) was die cut from Narwhal Cardstock using a Simple Road Border Die. The road was adhered over the slider track to hide it using two layers of foam tape on each end only, no tape around the center where the slider track needs to move. Single flowers were adhered along the road to finish the design.

Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week | Watercolor Wishes "Hello Sunshine" Layout

Welcome to the Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week.

Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is featuring the brand new Watercolor Wishes Paper Collection. I paired these papers with the amazing new Embroidered Hello Die for a hand stitched title. Rainbow colored die cut Finley's ABC's using the gorgeous Lawn Fawn cardstock are the perfect colorful addition to the black stitched title!

For the journaling block sunshine, I die cut a circle from Watercolor Wishes 6x6 paper using a Small Stitched Circle Die and then ran the circe through a printer by attaching the circle to a piece of printer paper with temporary adhesive. I die cut a Zig Zag Circle Die from Sunflower Cardstock and matted the journaled circle on top as shown. 

For the date, I die cut an Extra Sentiment Banner from Black Licorice Cardstock and then stamped a date and accents using the Plan On It Holidays and Plan On It Calendar stamps using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

A Watercolor Wishes Paper Collection paper was trimmed to 6" wide and I adhered the sunshine and date banner as shown. I die cut the title word "sunshine" from Raspberry, Chili Pepper, Fake Tan, Sunflower Cardstock, Cilantro, Mermaid, Peacock, Blue Jay, and Black Licorice cardstock using the Finley's ABC's. I adhered the colorful letters slightly offset on the black die cut letters and adhered them around the curved sunshine shape.

I ran the 6" wide strip through a Big Shot with the Embroidered Hello Die and hand stitched the rest of the title with black embroidery floss.

I die cut Lawn Fawn cardstock and patterned papers with tabbed dies, rounded the corners of the strips, and adhered the tabbed panels to the background of the 12x12 page. Words from Plan On It stamp sets were stamped on the tabs to add interest. The greeting strip was adhered to the background as shown and then a photo collage was adhered next to the title strip.

I finished the page with a scattering of Lawn Fawn die cut Hearts, wood veneer hearts, sticker phrase strips, a badge, clips, and a few other embellishments from my stash.

Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week | Hang In There "Happy Belated Birthday" Card

Welcome to the Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week!

Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the super adorable new Hang In There Stamp Set and coordinating dies and Simple Grassy Hillsides dies (these grassy borders have already gotten quite a workout HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE). I paired the slow little sloth from the Hang In There Stamp Set with the adorable slow little turtle from Year Two for this belated birthday card.

To build the background, I die cut a Small Dotted Detail Rectangle Die and Large Dotted Detail Circle Die for the frame using Bristol Smooth Cardstock. From another die cut dotted rectangle, I die cut two borders using Simple Grassy Hillsides dies. On the background frame and circle, I applied Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink using an ink blending tool. On both grassy borders I applied Mowed Lawn Distress Ink and spritzed all pieces with water from a Distress Sprayer and then blotted all dry with a paper towel. 

Greetings from the Hang In There Stamp Set were stamped along the top grassy border using Lawn Fawn Jalapeno Ink and Jet Black Ink. A small heart was stamped below the greetings and colored with Copic Markers.

The circle was adhered directly to a top fold card base and then the frame was adhered with foam adhesive.

Images from the Hang In There Stamp Set, Year Two Stamp Set, and Party Animals Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Jet Black Ink and then colored in with Copic Markers. The images were die cut with the coordinating Hang In There, Year Two, and Party Animals dies and then adhered to the card as shown to complete the design.

Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week | Fab Flowers, Fancy Folded Banners, and Happy Happy Happy

Welcome to the Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week!

Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is featuring the new Fab Flowers Stamp Set, coordinating dies and Fancy Folded Banners Dies. I am in love with the gorgeous new florals from the Fab Flowers Stamp Set. I also included greetings and dies from the Happy Happy Happy Stamp Set and coordinating dies for the greetings on my card.

The background was created on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with the Simon Says Stamp Diagonal Stripe Stencil, Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink. Once inked and stenciled, I spritzed the background with water from a Distress Sprayer and blotted the background dry with a paper towel.

The florals were stamped with with the incredible Lawn Fawn Inks! There are so many amazing colors (and more being added all the time!). Here is a breakdown of which color combinations I used for the flowers:

Red Roses: Peachy Keen, Guava

Yellow Flowers: Butter, Sunflower, Carrot

Pink Flowers: Ballet Slippers, Bubblegum

Purple Flowers: Fresh Lavender, Grape Soda

Green Leaves: Minty Fresh, Celery Stick

I used a MISTI stamp positioner to stamp the flowers to get the best solid stamped images. Most, if not all images, were stamped more than once, one on top of another for full coverage. I arranged the florals in a bouquet in the center of the background.

I die cut a banner from vellum using a Fancy Folded Banners Die and stamped a greeting from the Happy Happy Happy Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I folded the banner on the score lines and adhered the banner over the bouquet as shown. I stamped the "Happy" greeting on smooth white cardstock using black ink and then die cut the greeting with the coordinating die. I glued the greeting in place above the banner and finished the design with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew drops.

Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight | Nom Nom Kitties Congrats Card

Hello! Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the new Nom Nom Kitties Stamp Set and coordinating dies. I paired the images from Nom Nom Kitties with greetings from the Congrats All Around Stamp Set and Congrats Script Die for this congrats engagement card. The kitties sitting in the clouds sharing a meal are so super sweet!

A piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock was trimmed to 4" x 5 1/4". I stenciled Dried Marigold Distress Ink through a Tim Holtz Rays Stencil and then I blended Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink over the rays before spritzing the background with water from a Distress Sprayer. I blotted the background dry and once completely dry, I stamped a greeting from the Congrats All Around Stamp Set as shown.

Cloud borders were die cut from smooth white cardstock and vellum using a Landscape Trio Die and layered along the bottom edge of the panel.

The cats and other images from the Nom Nom Kitties Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Jet Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers before being die cut with the coordinating dies and adhered to the scene as shown.

For the dimensional greeting, I adhered Stick It to Fun Foam on both sides and then adhered smooth white cardstock to one side before die cutting the greeting using the Congrats Script Die. I inked up the greeting with Dried Marigold Distress Ink and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink before adhering above the stamped greeting.

The design was finished with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ripened Pumpkin, Orange Marmalade, and Dandelion Yellow.

Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week | Meow You Doin'? + Wonderful Window

Welcome to the Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week!

Today the Design Team is showcasing the new Meow You Doin'? stamps and coordinating dies and the Wonderful Window die collection. I used these together to create this sweet kitty sitting looking out the window birthday card!

I started with the background for this card. I trimmed some Bristol Smooth Cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4" and inked the background with the Tim Holtz Bricked Stencil and Pumice Stone Ink. I blended out the edges with more Pumice Stone Ink. Greetings from the Meow You Doin'? stamp set were inked along the bottom edge of the background using Jet Black Ink.

A window was cut from smooth white cardstock, the window box die cut from Narwhal Cardstock, greenery from Cilantro Cardstock, flowers from Chili Pepper, Guava, and Raspberry Cardstock and Mermaid Cardstock for the "house" inside the window. I assembled the window above the stamped greeting as shown. Grass was cut from Cilantro Cardstock using a Simple Grassy Hillsides Border and adhered along the bottom of the scene.

I stamped the cat, party hat, can of food, mouse, fish, and ball of yarn from the Meow You Doin'? stamp set on smooth white cardstock using Jet Black Ink and colored in the images with Copic Markers. I die cut the images with the coordinating dies and completed the scene as shown.

I finished the card by stamping an additional greeting from the Meow You Doin'? stamp set on the inside of the card.

This card features three of the animals from the Wild Cuddly Critters Stamp Set on a strip, with the lion on a wobble spring for a fun and easy interactive element!

I trimmed a strip from some of the white cardstock in the kit and die cut each long edge with a Simon Says Stamp Scallop Stitches die. With the MISTI, I stamped the lion and elephant on the strip first. Then I stamped the greeting, masked the lion, and stamped the giraffe. I stamped an extra lion on a scrap piece of smooth white cardstock and colored all the images and greeting with Copic Markers. I fussy cut the extra lion and added detail to all the eyes with black and white glaze pens, finishing with a layer of Glossy Accents. 

The solid hearts from the Wild Cuddly Critters Stamp Set were stamped with some of the Fresh Fruit Cube Inks (included in the kit).

The fussy cut lion was secured to the lion on the strip with a wobble spring. I adhered the strip to a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow patterned paper and the whole thing was secured to a white side fold card base.

Mama Elephant Stampede | Nom Nom Kitties + GIVEAWAY

Today I'm sharing a brand new card featuring the brand new Nom Nom Kitties Stamp Set and the new Congrats All Around greeting stamp set. These kitties and images from the Nom Nom Kitties Stamp Set make the perfect custom patterned background for this congratulations card.

Images from the Nom Nom Kitties Stamp Set were stamped with black ink over Neenah Desert Sand Cardstock and colored in with Copic Markers and a white gel pen. I love the difference coloring on a kraft background gives images!
 
For the greeting, I stamped a phrase from the Congrats All Around Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder. I trimmed the greeting into a rectangle and adhered it to a stamped background with foam adhesive.

On the inside of the card I stamped the large congrats and another phrase from the Congrats All Around Stamp Se using black ink. I love how additional greetings finish off the inside of the card design.

I stamped the images and greetings from the Wild Cuddly Critters Stamp Set on some of the smooth white cardstock included in the kit using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink. An additional elephant image was stamped and then I colored in all the images with Copic Markers as shown. The extra elephant was fussy cut to be placed on top of the action wobble spring.

I trimmed a patterned paper from the kit to 4" x 5 1/2" and adhered to a top fold card base. Borders were die cut from Island Blue Cardstock using the Sunrise Border Die and adhered under either side of the white cardstock strip. Thin black strips of cardstock were adhered on either side to frame up the stamped strip.

The fussy cut elephant was secured to the top of the elephant on the strip using an action wobble spring from the kit. I love how this cute little guy wobbles about!

The hearts and greeting were embellished with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen and finished with a layer of Glossy Accents.

Lawn Fawn Embroidered Hello + Meow You Doin'? Card

Happy Monday friends! Today I'm sharing a hello card with some of my favorite new Lawn Fawn stamps and dies! The Embroidered Hello die and Meow You Doin'? stamps set and coordinating dies are two of my favorites from the new release (and I'll be sharing two more projects with both of these new products in the coming week)!

On a piece of Neenah Desert Storm cardstock, I stamped the fish, yarn, and string from the Meow You Doin'? stamp set using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and Lobster Ink. The yarn was colored with Copic Markers and the fish was colored with a white Prismacolor colored pencil. I adhered the custom stamped background to a white side fold card base.

On a strip of Lawn Fawn Black Licorice cardstock, I die cut one edge with a Valentine Border die and die cut the Embroidered Hello die. Under the die cut hello, I stamped greetings from the Meow You Doin'? stamp set using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I back stitched the hello with red crochet thread as shown.

I stamped two cats, two balls of yarn, and two strings from the Meow You Doin'? stamp set using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and colored in the images with Copic Markers before die cutting with the coordinating Meow You Doin'? dies. I adhered a kitty and yarn to the front strip as shown and adhered the strip to the background using foam adhesive.

On the inside of the card, I stamped another greeting from the Meow You Doin'? stamp set and adhered the other kitty and yarn to finish the design.
