Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp New Beginnings product release bog hop!
I've been on a floral card kick as of late (I am so ready for Spring, anyone else?!!!) and I knew I wanted to color the gorgeous flowers from the More Spring Flowers Stamp Set for my card share today! I paired the flowers with a greeting from the new Handlettered Encouragement Stamp Set.
I stamped the flowers and greenery from the More Spring Flowers Stamp Set on smooth white cardstock using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink. I colored in the images with the following Copic Marker color combinations:
PINKS: RV00, RV52, RV55, RV69
GREENS: YG01, YG17
VIOLETS: B60, B63, B66
The images were die cut with the coordinating More Spring Flowers Dies.
For the background, I trimmed a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4" and applied Twisted Citron Distress Ink lightly to part of the panel. I applied more Twisted Citron Distress Ink through the Simon Says Stamp Grid Stencil for a tone-on-tone patterned background.
A greeting from the Handlettered Encouragement Stamp Set was stamped with black ink and the florals were adhered on the left side of the card as shown.
I adhered the panel to a white top fold card base and added white dotted detail to the images with a white glaze pen and finished the design with some Nuvo Morning Dew Crystal Drops.
