Hello friends! Today I'm sharing some more watercolored floral card featuring some of my favorite Simon Says Stamp stamps and dies! I love this Scribble Flowers Stamp Set paired with my favorite background, the Tiny Alphabet! To see another card idea featuring the Scribble Flowers, click HERE.
The flowers, leaves, and stems from the Scribble Flowers Stamp Set were stamped on Bristol Smooth cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The images were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and blended with a water brush pen before being die cut with the coordinating Scribble Flowers Dies.
A greeting phrase from the Choose Happy Stamp Set was stamped on Black Licorice Cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder and trimmed into thin strips.
A2 sized rectangles were die cut from smooth white cardstock using a Basic Rectangles Die and smaller rectangles were die cut from vellum. On the smooth white cardstock rectangles I stamped the Tiny Alphabet Background using Jet Black Ink.
To finish the cards, I assembled the flowers on the vellum rectangle as shown, layering the greeting strip over the stems. The vellum rectangle was adhered to the text background and then adhered to a white top fold card base. Nuvo Crystal Drops in Grey Mist, Carnation Pink, and Bottle Green were applied to the background as shown.
