Welcome to the Lawn Fawn Summer Release May Inspiration Week! Today the Design Team is sharing projects with the fantastic new Upon A Star Stamp Set and coordinating dies! The critters from this awesome Stamp Set look fantastic with the constellations from the set or the awesome new Stitched Fireworks Dies! So many great ways to use these adorable new images. The greetings are fantastic and can be mixed and matched to create all kinds of sentiments.
The frame and background of the shaker were die cut from Bristol Smooth Cardstock using the new Outside In Stitched Rectangles Dies. The large rectangle die was used to die cut the backing for the shaker and the transparency. From another stitched rectangle I die cut a Simple Grassy Hillside for the bottom border of the scene.
On the frame and inside back, I stamped the constellations from the Upon A Star Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I applied Peacock Feathers, Chipped Sapphire, Wilted Violet, and Black Soot Distress Inks over the constellations for embossed resist, spritzed the frame and background with water from a Distress Sprayer and blotted them dry.
For the Simple Grassy Hillside, I stamped greetings from the Upon A Star Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder before applying Shabby Shutters and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks over the border.
The critter images from Upon A Star were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and then colored in with Copic Markers before being die cut with the coordinating Upon A Star Dies.
The shaker frame was backed with the transparency and then the border and critters were adhered along the bottom edge of the frame. The frame was backed with two layers of foam adhesive and filled with Pretty Pink Posh Silver Mini Star Confetti, Sparkling Clear Stars, and Shimmer Seed Beads before being backed with the shaker backer.
The Push Me Stamp Set was used to create the circle accent for the upper right corner of the scene, letting the recipient know that the card is interactive!
