Welcome to the Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week!
Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is featuring the Tiny Tag Sayings Birthday Stamp Set. I love, love, loved the Tiny Tag Sayings Stamp Set and coordinating dies and am thrilled to see another stamp set that works with the tags or other shapes like on my card share today! I created a scene card entirely out of Lawn Fawn dies and then stamped a greeting from the Tiny Tag Sayings Birthday Stamp Set on the slider sunshine! Let's get started.
The frame and background of the scene were die cut from Bristol Smooth Cardstock using the new Outside In Stitched Rectangles. Waves were die cut using the Ocean Wave Borders, the "beach" was die cut with Simple Hillside Borders, Palm Trees, Coconuts, and the crab were die cut using the Palm Trees dies, and the sunshine was die cut using the Sun and Moon Dies. Distress Oxide Inks were used to add color to all the die cut scene pieces using Mini Ink Blending Tools. The colors used for each part of the scene are listed below:
Sky and Waves: Broken China Distress Oxide Ink
Sand and Palm Tree trunks: Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink
Palm Tree Leaves: Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Ink
Crab: Worn Lipstick and Fired Brick Distress Oxide Inks
Sunshine: Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide Inks
Coconuts: Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink
Sentiments from the Tiny Tag Sayings Birthday Stamp Set and Push Here Stamp Set were stamped on the sunshine using Black Licorice and Carrot Inks.
A Slide On Over Die was used to die cut a track in the sky background and a slider was constructed from the sunshine, a MFT Slider Element Disc and a punched circle of cardstock. Two layers of foam adhesive behind the main panel and two layers behind the ocean waves/scene ensure that the slider will slide up and down the horizon effortlessly!
White glaze pen accents were added to the images and Simon Says Stamp All Eyes On You eye stickers on the crab complete the scene.
