Mama Elephant June Stampede | Fish Tank Card + GIVEAWAY
Hello, hello! Welcome to a very special Summer Release Stampede! We are thrilled to bring you this splashin' release of 6 new stamp sets and 7 Creative Cuts dies!
The new release is live and available purchase at our store as well as at many of our retail partners around the world!
For 2 days only, a brand new straight slider set with any purchase over $60 is yours!
For my card share today I've paired the awesome new Fish Tank Die Collection with the Favor Bag Add On Cat dies for this oversized completely die cut scene card! No stamps required (with the exception of the greeting) for this sweet scene!
The fish bowl images were die cut from Lawn Fawn Chili Pepper, Sunflower, and Moonstone cardstock using the new Fish Tank dies.
To make the fish bowl into a shaker, Stick It was applied to both sides of Fun Foam and die cut with the Fish Tank Dies. The larger of the two dies was used to die cut a piece of acetate and a piece of vellum. On the vellum, the Simon Says Stamp Waves Stencil was used with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink to give the look of water. The vellum was adhered to the backside of the Fun Foam fish tank piece. The coral and fish were adhered "inside" the fish bowl. The Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen was used on the fish and Glossy Accents was used on the coral. Once the Glossy Accents was dry, Honey Been Stamps Clear Bitty Beads were added to the shaker, then the acetate fish bowl shape was adhered, finishing with the cardstock die cut fish bowl.
The vellum is still see-through enough to see a peek of the cat behind the bowl but the stenciled waves and clear bitty beads give the illusion of "water".
Glossy Accents was applied to the cat's nose and the hearts. A white glaze pen was used to create highlights on the eyes.
