Welcome to the Heffy Doodle Blog Hop!
Heffy Doodle is a brand new company offering a range of stamps and coordinating dies designed by Lesley Oman. The first release features 4 stamp sets with 4 coordinating die sets and a very special 5th stamp set for all of you interactive card makers!
Each of the 4 animal stamp sets has been designed to work on their own or together as part of the full collection. Each set contains 3 cute animals, a range of accessories for them and a versatile set of sentiments. All 4 sets were designed to work together so that, if you decide to buy more than one, you will be able to mix and match elements from any of these sets for endless possibilities!
Heffy Doodle also offers high quality coordinating dies for each animal set, so you can accurately cut your stamped images every time! Some of the dies even have internal cuts which allow you to tuck accessories into the hands of your stamped animals.
Be sure to check out all the information on the new stamps and dies HERE.
I'm sharing a set of 6 cards today featuring 3 of the new stamp sets: Happy Snappy Crocs, Elephant of Surprise, and Unbearable Without You. Each card features an adorable critter colored, die cut with the coordinating die, and popped up on a tone-on-tone stamped background and featuring a fantastic sentiment! The mix and match greetings are so much fun!!!
The elephant cards feature supporting images from the Elephant of Surprise Stamp Set stamped on Lawn Fawn Mermaid Cardstock using Mermaid Ink. A greeting was stamped in the lower third of each card using black ink. Elephants and a balloon were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Jet Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers. The die cut images were popped up above the greeting with foam adhesive.
The bear cards feature supporting images from the Unbearable Without You Stamp Set stamped on Lawn Fawn Raspberry Cardstock using Guava Ink. A greeting was stamped in the lower third of each card using black ink. How awesome is this sentiment?!!! Perfect for those crafty friends you might not get to spend time with very often! Bears were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Jet Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers. The hearts were stamped with Guava Ink and die cut with the coordinating dies. I love that the bear can "hold" an accessory image in the die cut paws!!! The bear images were popped up above the greeting with foam adhesive.
The crocodile cards feature supporting images from the Happy Snappy Crocs Stamp Set stamped on Lawn Fawn Cilantro Cardstock using Celery Stick Ink. A greeting was stamped in the lower third of each card using black ink. Crocodiles were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Jet Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers. The die cut images were popped up above the greeting.

I love the cute backgrounds on the cards I never think to use the same color ink and card together. I must try that. It looks really pretty and doesn't take away from the main image of the card.
