Every once in awhile I think it's a fun challenge to create a card made entirely from die cuts (with the exception of a greeting) and with all the amazing dies available in Lawn Fawn's collection, I was able to create this spooky Halloween Scene card in a snap!
On Canson Watercolor Cardstock I painted a night sky with dark blue, black, and deep purple Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors. Once blended, I let the background sit and air dry and then die cut the background with an Outside In Stitched Rectangle. A moon from the Sun and Moon Dies was die cut from Canson watercolor cardstock and painted with silver and very light touches of black to give it a cool moon "glow".
Birch Trees, bats and the cat from the Scalloped Treat Box Haunted House Dies, spiders from the Cute Cobwebs Dies, and the Picket Fence were die cut from Black Licorice Cardstock. The trees were adhered to the background as shown, the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen was used on the bats to make them glittery and they were attached to the card to appear to be flying in front of the moon, faces were added to the spiders from the How You Bean Candy Corn Add On Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with Lawn Fawn White Embossing Powder before being "hung" from trees and the fence and cat were adhered with black foam adhesive squares.
Spider webs from the Cute Cobwebs Dies were die cut from vellum and adhered to the card as shown using a Xyron Sticker maker adhesive. A sentiment from the How You Bean Candy Corn Add On Stamp Set was stamped with black ink to finish the design.
