Welcome to the Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week!
Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the How You Bean Candy Corn Add On Stamp Set and coordinating dies. I just love add-on stamp sets that breathe new life into previously released stamp sets. When you pair the Candy Corn Add On images with the How You Bean Stamp Set and Dies, it makes the most adorable projects! Mix and match the faces from the two stamp sets for even more possibilities or leave the images alone for a more sophisticated look! So many ways to use these darling designs!
The background was created with the new Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangles Dies. Two of the dies were used to create the background and frame. On the background rectangle, greetings from the How You Bean Candy Corn Add On were stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with the new Lawn Fawn White Embossing Powder. The panels were masked off and inked with Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide Inks, then spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer, and blotted dry with a paper towel.
The background was adhered to a white side fold card base and the frame adhered with some low profile foam adhesive.
Images from the How You Bean and How You Bean Candy Corn Add On stamp sets were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Jet Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers. Faces from the two stamp sets were stamped with Black Licorice Ink on the candy corn images. The images were die cut with the coordinating How You Bean Dies and Candy Corn Add On dies before Nuvo Crystal Glaze was applied over the jar image and set aside to dry for 24 hours. Once dry, I stamped a label from the How You Bean and a sentiment from the How You Bean Candy Corn Add On on vellum using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The label was secured to the "glass" jar by running the label through a Xyron Sticker Maker.
The rest of the images were secured along the bottom edge of the frame as shown to finish the card.
