Welcome to the Encouraging Words Blog Hop!
Today I'm sharing a gratitude card using my favorite die from the latest release, Kindness Matters and paired it with the Kaleidoscope Background Stamp and Encouraging Animals Stamps and Dies.
The background stamp was stamped on Lawn Fawn Narwhal Cardstock with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder. The image was colored in with Gansai Tambi watercolors in Black, White, and Silver. I'm addicted to coloring in these gorgeous, intricate backgrounds. I love that there are so many ways to color and ink the backgrounds for different looks!
The Kindness Matters was die cut from Lawn Fawn Narwhal Cardstock and Black Licorice Cardstock. Foam adhesive strips were applied to the back of the Kindness Matters greeting shape. The black letters were adhered into the shape for an inlay greeting. The dimensional inlay greeting was adhered to the background.
An additional greeting phrase from the Encouraging Animals Stamps and Dies was stamped on black cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The sentiment was trimmed into a thin strip and adhered below the dimensional greeting.
Bees from the Encouraging Animals Stamps and Dies were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock using black ink and colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. The die cut images were adhered to the card with foam adhesive and the design was finished with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Dandelion Yellow.
