The Simon Says Stamp September 2017 Card Kit, Best Birthday, is now available!
Today I'm back to share a couple more cards using components from the September Simon Says Stamp Card Kit. These shaker tag cards are super easy to create and would make incredible gift package tags in addition to card embellishments like I used them for here. The Jillibean Soup Balloon Die Cut Tag, Small Heart Die Cut Tag, Balloon Tag Insert, and Small Heart Tag Insert included in the card kit make the most incredible shakers!
Each shaker tag was backed with a Doodlebug rainbow striped paper from the September Card Kit. A powder tool was used to deactivate the sticky back on the sprinkles stickers for the balloon insert. The sprinkles and some Iridescent Mini Star Confetti was used to fill the balloon shaker and just the star confetti for the smaller heart shaker.
Greetings from the Best Ever Stamp Set were stamped with Versamark Ink on black cardstock banners die cut using a Basic Banners Die. The greetings were heat embossed with white embossing powder and adhered to the tags as shown.
For the purple background, a rectangle was die cut using a Wonky Rectangles die and the patterned paper was adhered to a white top fold card base. The tag was adhered to the card and finished with a scattering of Doodlebug Sprinkles form the kit and a bit of twine was threaded through the top of the tag.
For the pink background, a piece of the Doodlebug patterned paper from the kit was trimmed down to 5" x 3.75" and adhered to the front of a white top fold card base. The tag was adhered to the front of the card and finished with a scattering of Doodlebug Sprinkles from the kit, Iridescent Mini Star Confetti, and a bit of twine was threaded through the top of the tag.
