Hello! I hope everyone's weekend is off to a fabulous start. I'm at a Volleyball Tournament all day today and have big plans to get lots done around the house tomorrow such as defrosting the deep freeze, laundry, ironing, and other exciting tasks! ha!
Today, though, I'm sharing a thank you card featuring the Stitched Morning Glories Stamp Set and Embroidery Hoops Dies. Additional elements like the greeting and background stamping were stamped with images and greetings from the Notions Stamp Set. This set perfectly matches the look and feel of the card. Cross-stitching was my first crafty love so the look of stitched stamps makes my heart happy!
Images from the Stitched Morning Glories Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using New Fish In Pond, Daydreaming, Safe Choice, Happy Go Lucky, You Said What, and Chirp Chirp inks. Instead of using the coordinating dies, I die cut the images or portions of the images with the Embroidery Hoops Dies, keeping only the inside portion of the image.
For the frames, I adhered smooth white cardstock to Fun Foam backed with Stick It and die cut the Embroidery Hoops. I inked up the frames with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.
For the background of the card, I used the largest Patched Layers die to add "stitching" detail around the 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel. A greeting from the Notions Stamp Set was stamped with Like A Pro Ink and additional Notions images were stamped all over the background with New Fish In Pond ink.
The Embroidery Hoops were adhered to the background panel and the Stitched Morning Glories circles were adhered inside the embroidery hoops.
The panel was attached to a white top fold card base to complete the design.

Beautiful card! Question: I usually order through a link you provide but normally add it to my wish list. That way I can build up a larger order over time and then place the combined orders which cuts my shipping cost. If I do this instead of just adding to my cart through your link - will SSS remember so you get the credit?

I think so Mary, but I’m not sure. Thanks for asking a great question. I’ll ask about it!
Hugs, Nichol
