Honey Bee Stamps and joined with Ellen Huston for a collaboration stamp and die set for the United We Flourish campaign! This Sending Sunshine Stamp and Die set is an amazing addition to your greeting collection and goes perfectly with the Sunburst A2 Cover Plate, Partly Cloudy Dies, Cloud Borders Dies, Ray Of Sunshine Stamp Set, and Sunburst Layering Stencils.
I used a Sunburst Layering Stencil with Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry, Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, Shaded Lilac, and Wilted Violet to add color to an A2 sized piece of smooth white cardstock. I spritzed the inks with water from a Distress Sprayer to add some awesome distressing and water droplets to the rainbow sun rays. I blotted the water dry with a paper towel and once the background was completely dry I stamped greeting words/phrases from the Sending Sunshine Stamp Set using Black Licorice Ink.
The rest of the sentiment for the card was die cut from a sandwich of smooth white cardstock adhered to Fun Foam with Stick It adhesive using the Ray of Sunshine Dies. Distress Inks were applied to the letters to mimic the rainbow look of the background. The dimensional words was adhered to the card to complete the greeting.
Clouds were die cut from smooth white cardstock adhered to Fun Foam and vellum using the Partly Cloudy Dies. I love the dimension of the foam clouds and the see-thru quality of the vellum clouds.
To finish the design, bumblebees from the Busy Bee Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock, colored with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies. Little bee "trails" were stamped to give the bees a sense of movement!
