Welcome to the Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week!
Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the new Beary Happy Holidays Stamp Set and coordinating dies. I'm pairing these adorable images with the Winter Village Stamps and Dies for a winter scene shaker card. One of my favorite things about this shaker is that I heat embossed with the new Lawn Fawn embossing powders right on the window plastic! The Judikins Embossable Plastic is great if you would prefer to heat emboss on your shaker windows as opposed to using StazOn. This is a very thin shaker. Because the Portrait Stitched Hillside Backdrop is A2 sized, I prefer not to have a thick shaker. A thinner foam makes fitting the card into an envelope easier. I'm using Fun Foam and the awesome Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter to create a snowy scene.
The background was created from the Portrait Stitched Hillside Backdrop. One frame was die cut from smooth white cardstock and one die cut from Fun Foam backed on both sides with Stick It Adhesive. On the cardstock frame and inside background Distress Inks in Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, Salty Ocean, and Tumbled Glass were used to add a night sky, water, and a tint to the snow. On the inside panel of the night sky, star images from the Winter Village Stamp Set were stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
On the embossable plastic window, greetings and snowflakes from the Beary Happy Holidays Stamp Set were stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Lawn Fawn Silver and White Embossing Powders.
Images from the Winter Village and Beary Happy Holidays Stamp Sets were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Jet Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating Beary Happy Holidays Dies and Winter Village Dies.
The moon and two trees were adhered "inside" the shaker scene. The rest of the images were adhered to the card front as shown. Prisma Glitter was adhered to some of the images to give the look of snow.
The shaker fun foam frame was secured to a white top fold card base, the inside panel was adhered and the shaker was filled with Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter. The frame was secured to the front to finish the design.
