Welcome to the Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week!
Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the new Here We Go A-Waddling Stamp Set and coordinating dies! I paired these adorable new images with the Landscape Stitched Hillside Backdrop and components from the Portrait Stitched Hillside Backdrop for this bright and colorful holiday scene card. I love how the image dies from each can be mixed and matched to create the perfect scene! The new Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter is incredible and makes for fantastic "snow and ice" on the roof tops and trees!
For the scene, I die cut three of the Landscape Stitched Hillside Backdrop frames and layered them one on top of another on a side fold white card base. On one window panel (the die cut piece from the frame) I stamped greetings and music notes from the Here We Go A-Waddling Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with Lawn Fawn white embossing powder. Blueprint Sketch and Salty Ocean Distress Inks were adhered over the stamping for embossed resist. A Distress Sprayer was used to spritz water over the background, letting the water dry. This helps give the illusion of snow without having to stamp a bunch of flurries!
Houses and trees from both the Landscape Stitched Hillside Backdrop and the Portrait Stitched Hillside Backdrop were die cut from Ballet Slippers, Chili Pepper, Fake Tan, Sunflower, Noble Fir, Peacock, and Blue Jay cardstock colors. The images were inked with coordinating Distress Ink colors, the yellow rectangles were colored with a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen, the images assembled, and Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter was applied to give the illusion of snowy houses and trees! Chunky ice chips glitter was adhered along the stitched borders of the card.
The light and penguins from the Here We Go A-Waddling Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating Here We Go A-Waddling Dies.
The light was adhered behind one of the "snow drifts" as shown. The penguins were adhered to the scene with foam adhesive. Details were added to the images using a black glaze pen, white opaque pen, Stardust glitter pen, and the Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter.
Music note thought bubbles from the Here We Go A-Waddling Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Lobster, Carrot, Sunflower, and Blue Jay Inks, die cut with the , and adhered to the card as shown to finish the design.
