Welcome to the final week of STAMPtember at Simon Says Stamp. Thank you so much for spending part of your day with me!
Avery Elle has teamed up with Simon Says Stamp for this limited edition exclusive stamp set for STAMPtember called, Merry Mistletoe. This set is available while supplies last! I stamped the beautiful mistletoe image on kraft cardstock and colored the image with Prismacolor Colored Pencils. I absolutely love the look of colored pencils on kraft cardstock.
The large mistletoe image from the Merry Mistletoe was stamped on Desert Storm kraft cardstock using Versafine Ink and colored in with Prismacolor Colored Pencils.
Picket Fence Distress Paint was watered down and flicked over the colored image with a small paintbrush.
A frame was created by die cutting a Stitched Oval Die from an A2 sized panel of Neenah Smooth White Cardstock.
A greeting from the Merry Mistletoe stamps set was stamped on a clear plastic sheet using Cotton White StazOn Ink and adhered behind the frame. The frame was adhered to the colored panel with thin foam adhesive squares and the design was adhered to a white side fold card base to complete the design.
