Welcome to the STAMPtember Blog Hop Day 2 friends!
Are you as excited for STAMPtember as I am?!!!! This is my favorite crafty month all year long and believe me when I tell you that you won't want to miss a single day! The limited edition collaboration stamps and dies are ah-mazing and if you've participated in STAMPtember before you know that you will want to snatch up your favorite company's exclusive collaboration sets quickly because things tend to sell out! Now, let's get started with today's project!
I am using the brand new Fractile Leaves Stamp Set to create a background that I watercolored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and pairing the new You Got This Stamp Set with the previously released Stay Strong Dies for my card's sentiment.
For the background, I stamped the leaves from the Fractile Leaves Stamp Set on Bristol Smooth Cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Simon Says Stamp Fine Detail White Embossing Powder. I colored in the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water brush pen. For the background, I added shimmery color using the Kuretake Gansai Starry Colors and a water brush pen.
While the background was air drying, I stamped a greeting from the You Got This Stamp Set on black cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Simon Says Stamp Fine Detail White Embossing Powder. I trimmed the greeting into a strip and adhered it to the background as shown.
A scripty Stay Strong Die was die cut from gold foil cardstock adhered to Fun Foam with Stick It Adhesive and adhered below the sentiment strip.
The background was finished with a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh gold metallic sequins and gold mini star confetti.
I trimmed the panel to 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere it to a white side fold card base to complete the design.
