Happy weekend friends! Are you enjoying STAMPtember?!!!! Today I'm back to share another new card with you. This is a Halloween card featuring one of my favorite stamp sets from the release, If The Hat Fits. Seriously, could those sentiments be any cuter?!!!
I stamped the witch hats from the If The Hat Fits on black cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with Simon Says Stamp Fine Detail White Embossing Powder.
The greeting and solid star images from the If The Hat Fits Stamp Set were stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Ranger Sticky Embossing Powder before applying Nuvo Silver Gilding Flakes. The excess was brushed off with a Blender Brush.
The edges of the Good Reading Background were inked with Simon Says Stamp White Pigment Ink and stamped over the background. Inking only the edges keeps the center of the panel free from text but adds lovely distressing around the outer edges, perfect for this spooky fun card!
The hats were watercolored with Zig Kuretake Gansai Starry Colors and a water brush pen. I love how the Red Gold from this set looks orange on the black cardstock background!
Pretty Pink Posh Mini Silver Star Confetti were scattered throughout the background and the panel was adhered to a white top fold card base to finish the design.
