I've got to tell you all, this is my favorite kit and add-ons of all time. There are so many cards and projects I want to create with these products. I didn't get everything I want to make with the kit and add-ons finished to share today, but I did make two cards and a bunch of tags. And I will be back tomorrow with more! The main kit is amazeballs and the add-ons....oh my goodness! My favorites? The Naughty Elves, Irreverent Elf Messages, North Pole Sign, Winter Hearth Stamp & Cut, and Santa Door Frame Cuts and Accessories.
Let's start with a card created with the main kit:
I created a background with the mountain border and tree border frame cuts from the main kit. The mountain border was die cut from one of the specialty papers from the kit and the trees from Bristol Smooth Cardstock. The trees were lightly inked with Forest Moss Distress Ink. The "sky" was created by stamping a greeting and flurries from the October kit with Versamark Ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder.
On the tree border, several of the images from the kit stamp set were stamped to start the winter village scene. The rest of the images were stamped on another piece of smooth white cardstock. All the images were colored with Copic Markers. The building, Santa, and Mrs. Claus were die cut with the coordinating dies.
The background panels were adhered to a white side fold card base and the die cut images were adhered to complete the winter village!
These are just a few of the many amazing images in the October kit. So many scenes can be created with this awesome kit! How amazing is that?!!!!
Next up, the Naughty Elves. I couldn't resist!
For my second card share, I stamped the Naughty Elves on smooth white cardstock, colored in the images with Copic Markers, die cut and framed up using the Mama Elephant Tri Window Die. I wanted to frame each of the cute elves "scenes" up individually and a window die made that easy peasy! A bit of Hickory Smoke Distress Ink added just the right subtle touch of inking to the background panels. The frame and images were popped up with thin foam squares. I think this Naughty Elves stamp set is my favorite from the release. I don't know why but they make me laugh!!!
Finally, here's a set of tags made with the Irreverent Elf Messages.
I created tags using the Mama Elephant Slim Tags Trio Dies and stamped the fantastic images and sentiments from the Irreverent Elf Messages on the smooth white cardstock side of the tag. I colored in the elf faces with Copic Markers and added a stamped "to" and "from" on the back of each using the Naughty Elves stamp set.
