Hello friends! Coffee gift cards are always an easy gift whether it be for a birthday, Christmas, or any day! Today I'm sharing a couple of Coffee Card Gift Holders using the awesome shaped Honey Bee Crafts dies. The adorable polar bear from the Flakey Friends Stamp Set makes for the perfect accent to these cute gift card holders.
The bases for the coffee gift card holders were die cut from Lawn Fawn Chili Pepper and Mermaid Cardstock, the bands cut from Neenah Desert Storm Cardstock, and the lids die cut from Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Cardstock.
On the red card base, I stamped snowflakes from the Flakey Friends Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. On the aqua card base, I stamped coffee cups from the Flakey Friends Stamp Set with Versamark Ink only, for the watermark look.
On the coffee cup lids I stamped greetings from the Perfect Blend Stamp Set with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder and red embossing powder. The lids were attached to the flap at the top of the card bases.
The coffee cup bands were stamped with greetings from the Perfect Blend Stamp Set using Versafine Onyx Black Ink.
The polar bear, scarves, coffee cups (how cute is it that they match the cup die?!!!!), and the hat from the Flakey Friends Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock using Jet Black Ink, colored in with Copic Markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies.
The images were adhered to the coffee bands, being sure to keep the adhesive only to the areas where the bear connects to the coffee band. A black glaze pen was used to add detail to the bear and Glossy Accents was applied to the band on the coffee cup the polar bear is holding. I absolutely love that the bear die cuts out the arms and makes tucking the coffee cup in the bear's arms so easy!
Greetings and paw prints from the Flakey Friends Stamp Set were stamped inside the card for a fun surprise inside the card.
A gift card will securely stay in place without adhesive when you fold up the card and slip the band around the coffee cup! Isn't it just the cutest?!!! I want to make these for everyone for Christmas!
