Welcome to the Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week!
Today the Lawn Fawn Design Team is showcasing the new Stitched Ornaments dies. These dies feature stitching lines on both side of the die so not only can you create the die cut shape but you can create windows with the shape as well! There are three sizes of ornaments plus accessories to decorate them. I thought the large and medium ornaments would make amazing gift tags and as I started fussing with them, I thought to add Nuvo Crystal Drops and I fell in love! I think these might be some of my favorite tags ever! They would make great ornaments too! And of course, I needed a storage or gift box to coordinate so I used the Fancy Box Dies and the smallest ornament for the box.
I die cut the Stitched Ornaments dies from Ballet Slippers, Chili Pepper, Mermaid, Peacock, and Narwhal Cardstock. The ornament toppers were die cut from a glitter cardstock. Each tag has a front and back and each has a front and back for the ornament topper.
Elements for each tag were die cut from the Stitched Ornaments accessories and the Mini Snowflakes.
Stitching detail dies or layered die cuts were added to the front of each tag and then I finished each with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Simply White, Bubblegum Blush, and Red Berry.
"To/From" greetings from the Tiny Tag Sayings Stamp Set were stamped on the gift tag backs with Versafine Black Ink. White string was threaded through the top of each and knotted.
The Fancy Box Die was used to create packaging for the ornaments. The smallest ornament was die cut from the front cover of the box and backed with a clear transparency and embellished like the gift tags. I love matching packaging and this was super fast and easy.
When using Nuvo Crystal Drops be sure to let them sit and dry for at least 24 hours before using to make sure they are good and solid.
