Mama Elephant October Stampede | On The Hills + GIVEAWAY
Welcome to the Mama Elephant Design Team blog hop!
Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store.
Today the Mama Elephant Design Team is showcasing the October Release! I'm sharing a card with the On The Hills Dies to make this bright and colorful holiday scene card!
Falling snow from the Holly's Snowflakes Stamp Set was stamped on a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" panel of smooth white cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossing with white embossing powder. Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink was applied over the embossing to add color to the sky.
The hills, cloud border, houses, and trees from the On The Hills Dies were die cut from smooth white cardstock. The borders were adhered along the bottom and top edges of the panel as shown.
The houses and trees were inked with Distress Oxide Inks to add custom color to the die cuts. The images were tucked behind the borders as shown.
A greeting from the Peaceful Wishes Stamp Set was stamped on the front border with Versafine Black Ink.
Individual clouds from the On The Hills Dies were die cut from vellum and adhered to the background to help fill in the scene.
Confetti hearts were die cut from smooth white cardstock and inked with Candied Apple Distress Ink and adhered to the card to finish the design.

Love the rainbow homes and using vellum for the clouds are a great choice, I always forget to do that until I see someone else do it and think how come you don't remember that for your cards.
