This month's kit is so amazing! A 6x8 Kind Flowers stamp set, coordinating die, and specialty papers push this right over the top! I created a dimensional die cut word from the gorgeous floral stamp, making it really pop. The florals were watercolored with metallic gold and silver and a green watercolor.
I trimmed a patterned paper from the kit to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and adhered it to a white side fold card base. I trimmed a piece of Cream Cardstick from the kit to 3" x 5 1/2" and used a Scallop Stitches Die on both edges to add stitching detail. I trimmed the Dark Chocolate from the kit to 2.5" x 5 1/2" and stamped the large floral from the Kind Flowers Stamp Set with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.
I colored in the image with Kuretake Tambi Watercolors and a water brush pen.
Once dry, I die cut the word kind from the strip with the coordinating die from the kit. I die cut the word from a scrap of the Dark Chocolate four more times. I adhered the strip and inlaid a plain die cut Kind word and then stacked the rest on top, finishing with the watercolored word. I love how the word pops from the florals!
An additional greeting from the Kind Flowers Stamp Set was stamped on Dark Chocolate fwith Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I adhered this strip with a thin strip of foam and adhered it above the word "kind".
I finished the card with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Pale Gold, Copper Penny, and Woodland Green.
