Happy Sunday friends! I'm super excited to be playing along with my friend, Tracey McNeely, and the 7th Annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags event! If you're looking for some ideas for Christmas Tags be sure to visit here blog HERE for lots and lots of amazing inspiration!
All of the tags today feature Lawn Fawn. One of my favorite challenges is to take products from a more "cutesy" company and find a way to give them a more classic/elegant feel. I have been wanting to make tag wreaths for awhile and with the brand new Large Wreath Dies from Lawn Fawn it is so easy! The recipient could easily remove the "to/from" tag and use the wreath as a decoration or ornament too!
I die cut the wreath base and greenery from Noble Fir Cardstock using the Large Wreath Dies. For each wreath I used 12 sprigs, 6 per layer. You could use more or less depending on how thick you want your wreath to be. I adhered the greenery to the wreath base with Ranger Multi Matte Medium and let the glue dry completely before slightly bending the leaves for a more natural look.
The bow from the Large Wreath Dies was assembled and glued to the bottom of each wreath as shown. A great way to secure the bow while the glue dries is to use a pair of craft tweezers to hold it together while you assemble the wreath.
White "berries were added to each wreath with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Simply White. I let the Nuvo drops dry completely overnight before finishing the tags.
I die cut Tiny Tags from smooth white cardstock and stamped "to/from" from the Tiny Tag Sayings Stamp Set using Chili Pepper Ink. The tag was threaded onto black/white checked ribbon and then through a wreath before being knotted to finish the design.
